A practitioner of Taekwon-Do for close to 40 years, she is the highest female Grandmaster worldwide within the ICTF Organization. Introducing Taekwon-Do and establishing over 30 programs throughout the City of Toronto, Grandmaster Scarsellone is a wealth of knowledge, experience and leadership. She teaches Taekwon-Do Classes to these amazing Foundations: Meta Centre & Reena Org. Providing exceptional support for individuals with developmental disabilities .
Sports, health, and fitness have always been important aspects of her life. As a child and a teenager, she was involved with Gymnastics, Track and Field, Cross Country, Soccer, Basketball, and Volleyball. Once she began training Taekwon-Do, it truly became her
" way of life."
Grandmaster Scarsellone has competed in numerous Local, Provincial, National, and World Championships. In 1991, she won a total of nine medals at the National Championships in Regina Saskatchewan. She later went on to represent our country at the 1992 World Championships in Pyongyang, North Korea. A total of 69 countries competed. Shortly after, she qualified for the 1994 World Championships in Malaysia, however, due to her upcoming wedding in the same year, she declined.
She made up for it in 1997 where she was the captain of the National Team and competed in St. Petersburg, Russia. With her leadership, the team placed 3rd in Patterns amongst a total of 72 countries.
Taekwon-Do has given Grandmaster Scarsellone wonderful opportunities to travel the world and to challenge herself physically and mentally.
Now she shares her knowledge and wisdom with her students - as young as 4 years old.
On June 3rd, 2023 at the Grand Masters Cup Tournament in Woodbridge, Ontario, Master Scarsellone became the highest female "Grandmaster" in the World within the ICTF Organization. It was extra special as almost all her students and parents were in attendance and shared this huge milestone with her.
